The information below describes the system requirements for both moderators and participants using the application or browser only features. Meeting these requirements will help ensure successful, productive meetings.
Desktop Application
Note: Participants are not required to install the meeting application in order to participate in a meeting. However, participants must install the Unified Meeting 5 application in order to be promoted to Presenter or to view/share web cam video.

Browser Application
If moderators do not install the meeting application, they can launch browser-only meetings to manage their audio participants online. With browser only, you can utilize features such as view/share webcam video, mute, dial me, chat and open/close meeting room door.
Note: The the following features are not available in browser only: integration with instant messenger, calendars, contacts, computer audio (VoIP), content sharing and scheduling.

Video System Requirements
Unified Meeting 5 video is WebRTC compliant, a technology that provides browser and mobile applications with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities.
Video Network Requirements
- For optimal web cam video quality and lower network bandwidth, it is highly recommended that the following ports are made available to the application to connect to the *.iconf.net domain:
- TCP 443 for conference control traffic
- UDP ports 10000-50000 for video stream frames

Video Bandwidth Requirements
Our video solution implements the efficient VP8 codec. It supports resolutions up to 720p30 at a max video rate of 500 Kbps. The video metrics below serve as one possible example of measured usage and should be used as a guideline only. A different network environment may produce different results.

Video System Requirements
Unified Meeting 5 officially supports video on browser using Google Chrome (version 63 or higher) and Mozilla Firefox (version 58 or higher).
