How do I add my profile picture in Cisco Webex App?

Make it easier for people to recognize you in Webex App by adding a picture to your profile. Until you upload one, your profile picture only shows your initials inside a circle.

You can use lots of common graphic formats for your picture: .jpg, .png, .gif, or .bmp. Or use the camera on your phone to take a quick selfie. The file has to be under 10 MB, though and ideally a square image between 200x200 pixels and 1000x1000 pixels. Webex App resizes your file to use in Webex App.

If your picture doesn't change for you, it could be the file size. Or, your picture may be set through your organizations directory, and you'll need to contact your administrator to change it.

If other people don't see your changed picture, it's probably down to the local caching on their apps. The change can take up to four hours to show for other users.

Once you add a profile picture, you can only replace it with another picture.

Follow the steps to update your profile picture for each of these operating systems and devices:

• Windows

1. Click your profile picture. If you haven't already added a picture, click on your initials in a circle.
2. Click the larger profile picture, and then browse for the picture that you want to upload.

• Mac

1. Click your profile picture. If you haven't already added a picture, click on your initials in a circle.
2. Click the camera icon and then browse for the picture that you want to upload.

• iPhone and iPad

1. Tap your profile picture on the top left of the app, and then tap your profile picture If you haven't already added a picture, you'll see your initials in a circle.

2. Tap Edit, then tap Take Photo to take a picture, or tap Choose Existing Photo to select an existing picture. You might have to give the Webex App app access to your pictures first.
3. Tap Done.

• Android

1. Tap your profile picture, and then tap your profile picture If you haven't already added a picture, you'll see your initials in a circle.
2. Tap Edit and select a picture to use. You might have to give the Webex App app access to your pictures first.
3. Adjust the crop for your picture, then tap Set Avatar.
